Occasional Evening & Morning Care Specialist

Part-Time - Supplemental | San Francisco (94112)

We are currently building a select "bench" of 2–3 dependable, professional caregivers to support a working family in San Francisco (94112). This role is designed for the high-level professional seeking supplemental income through low-stress, occasional hours with an energetic, talkative toddler.

Quick Facts
  • Schedule: Supplemental / As-Needed (Approx. 10–15 hours per month).

  • Primary Times: Weekday evenings (typically 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM) and occasional early mornings.

  • Compensation: $35–$45 per hour.

  • Location: San Francisco, CA (94112).

  • The Child: A friendly, outgoing, and active nearly 2-year-old girl.

The Opportunity: A Trusted Support Network

This family is looking for more than just a babysitter; they are looking for a professional they can confidently call on when work travel or evening commitments arise. Because both parents lead busy professional lives, reliability, punctuality, and clear communication are non-negotiable. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caregiver who values clear expectations and a calm environment. As the shifts often occur during or near bedtime, the role is generally low-stress, allowing you to provide attentive care while the child is sleeping or winding down for the night.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attentive Care: Provide gentle, responsive supervision for a toddler, prioritizing her safety and emotional well-being.

  • Routine Management: Handle evening wind-down and bedtime routines with a calm and patient demeanor.

  • Consistent Reliability: Honor all scheduled shifts with strict punctuality—the family relies on your follow-through to manage their own professional travel and commitments.

  • Respectful Presence: Maintain a clean and organized environment within the home during your shift (no heavy household chores required beyond basic tidying).

  • Clear Communication: Proactively confirm shifts and provide brief updates to parents as needed.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Experienced: 3+ years of professional experience with infants or toddlers.

  • Professionally Punctual: You take pride in being exactly on time and are highly responsive via text/email.

  • Calm & Patient: A gentle, steady personality that fits well with a toddler’s evening routine.

  • Independent: Comfortable and confident managing a home environment independently during evening hours.

  • Local: Ideally located within an easy commute of the 94112 area.
